Principle photography has now completed on the film Gene. The film, for Giant Leap Productions, tells the story of a mother who unearths a dark secret about her son. Shot in Yorkshire on the Black Magic Mini Studio 4K camera with a Movi M5 rig, the film is due for completion in March.

The new series of Kay Mellor’s The Syndicate starts on 2 June 2015, on BBC1. Shooting as second unit DoP and B camera operator throughout the series, Alex was delighted to have contributed to such a popular and well regarded production.
